When we went to Stone Lane yesterday we spotted a sign towards Spinster Rock and thought it sounded interesting.
It turns out it is not quite as impressive as we expected, but was just some stones in a cow field!
There is obviously historical significance here, but it must have passed me by I’m afraid!
And so, onwards…… we decided that the grounds of Castle Drogo, prior to the entrance were a good bet, as the dogs would get a good stretch and we could have a cuppa and a cake when we were done walking!
It turned out being a good day with some great views and some steep sections of walking, and certainly tired us all out for a good nights sleep.
